Startups need to have excellent customer service in order to grow business. If you are one of the founders or important employees, you should tell people who you are. They will be happy that a higher up is attending to them. Answer newer emails before older ones, so that at least some people will get the immediate response. Make sure the path to service that needs to be escalated is easy to navigate for the customer. Try to use human interaction to create positive moments that can’t be had with artificial intelligence. Finally, constantly ask the customer what they want.
