Nuance, the company was just contracted to facilitate speech recognition and messaging software for Google and Amazon has also been contracted by Apple. The company plans a new app that will allow for virtual customer service. Nuance already successfully provides this service for over 6500 companies. Nuance claims the technology, called Nina, is able to resolve 80% of customer complaints using the software. Likely Siri will be using the same Nina-powered bots used by Google Home and Alexa.
