The online version of a major business magazine has a feature on how companies are turning to artificial intelligence to meet their customer service requirements. The companies are using two types of artificial intelligence. One relies completely on machines, while the other has a human involved. The industry has humorously dubbed the latter cyborgs. The report states at least 80 per cent of companies are using or plan to use artificial intelligence. It is estimated that the first type brings the time down for human talking by ten per cent.
