Trust causes comfort between a consumer and producer, and trust encourages a consumer to continue to rely on the producer as well as remain loyal. When a consumer feels as though they can trust the producer, they feel as though they are being treated fairly and are not being tricked by the producer with methods such as increased prices. Thus, transparency allows the producer to release information about their product in a way that targets the consumer’s needs and complaints, as well as makes the consumer feel as though the information given is not doctored nor biased.
