Bad customer relations is not just an airline problem. It can be caused when management treats employees like commodities. Fast food business is a prime example, with Chick-fil-A a rare exception. Some of it also stems from customer service expectations that are too high. When customers ask for an exception and don’t get it, they will often make social media waves about it. Health care complaints will tarnish the whole system for one bad experience. Remaining calm in a public confrontation is essential.
