It’s acknowledged that the younger generation prefers online interactions when dealing with customer service, but what businesses don’t realize is that seniors are beginning to prefer it too. The baby boomer generation is beginning to navigate social media as well as purchases online and are beginning to prefer online chat options over live phone calls when using customer service. Seniors prefer the quick responses and the little to no wait times. It’s time businesses paid attention.
